I do wish the world-building was stronger, as some aspects of the story (like the magic itself) feel empty and lacking. they are definitely the backbone of this story. i honestly dont think there was a character i disliked, which is impressive considering how may POVs there are. there are so many good relationships, friendships, and sibling connections in this.
